A note from Over The Rainbeaux Kennels:

To our beloved customers or should be say lifetime "family members" now!  We would like to take a moment to thank all of you for expressing your true feelings publicly on this page.  It is so rewarding to know that all the years of continuing education and knowledge is paying off in a positive manner for both you and the puppy(ies) we have entrusted in your care.  Each of these testimonies has touched our hearts in a very special way; not to mention left us in tears of joy.  The inspiration is beyond words and tends to make us speechless.  Knowing that we can meet and exceed your every expectation is truly a God send.

We cannot forget all of you that mail us the hundreds of wonderful Christmas cards annually with those beautiful pampered babies featured.  It fills out hearts with a wonderful sense of accomplishment, not to mention gives us regrets that we should have kept certain puppies!  But we have a sense of peace in our hearts that we placed each and every puppy in the right home and that is all that matters.  We would also like to thank those of you who so graciously blessed us with homemade cookies, homemade jams/jellies, Lamberger fragrance lamps, cocker spaniel figurines, Wizard of Oz collectables (theme of our kennel) and the list goes on.  Words cannot express the gratitude and blessings you have bestowed upon Over The Rainbeaux Kennels.  Thank you for being part of our family!!!!

                                                                                                                                   Abundant blessings,

Rainbeaux's Customer Testimonials:

Dear Angie,

Your website looks great!!!  What a nice job you did.  Lily-Claire is honored to be a part of it I'm sure.  She's very smart and she looks you right in the eye when you talk to her.  We got her a cat to play with when we moved into the larger house.  He's orange and white and he's just almost a year old.  His name is Howard and they have become best friends.  We have a large bird feeder on our deck and since there's snow up here, we get a lot of birds looking for food.  Howard lays down with his nose to the patio door and watches the birds and squirrels all the while twitching his tail.  Lily watches too, and sometimes will sit straddling Howard so that if you look at them from behind it looks like Lily sitting there looking out the window with a long orange tail.  I'll have to get a picture on disk and send it to you.  They are really a comedy to watch.  She has a great personality and disposition and loves everyone she meets and isn't the least shy or reserved.  You've done a wonderful job with your breeding to bring out all the best traits.  We are so grateful to have her as part of our family.  Thanks so much again.

Hi Angie,
Hope you are all well.  I wanted to give you an update on Lily Claire.  We enrolled her in doggie daycare two days a week for fun and exercise.  I checked out several in our area and found one I was very comfortable with.  She goes on Wednesday and Friday and has made a "best friend" in Andre a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who adores her.  When they meet in the parking lot, they can't wait to get inside and begin playing immediately.  She had to be "interviewed" to test her socialization skills and to see whether or not she would be intimidated by the larger dogs.  She was a little uncertain at first, but now she plays with everyone.  She is also very attached to one of the "teachers", Michelle.  I have been complimented repeatedly on her self assuredness and her wonderful temperament.  Most of the credit for this goes to you and your family and the love and care you gave her before she joined our family.
We went on vacation a few weeks ago, and she spent 9 days at a "sleep-over camp" where she also had to be interviewed.  Again, the owner commented on what a great personality she has and how smart she is.  He's seen many cocker spaniels who have been high strung and snappy.  Lily loves everyone.
She's also completed Family Dog I and II Training and we're seriously considering training her as a Therapy Dog because she's so loving and affectionate.
Right now though, she's taking Fly ball for Shorties and she loves it.

On daycare days, Howard the Cat is so happy to see her when we get home and wants to play and wrestle...Lily is tired and wants to take a nap.  But she never snaps at him.  She's just a continuing JOY.  Thank you again.

Hi Angie,
Lily Claire has been made a "Day Care Ambassador".  This means that when new dogs come to the day care for their interview appointment, Lily Claire is one of the two or three dogs that they introduce to the visiting interviewee.  Her day care counselors say she is always friendly and not overbearing, and she always seems to be able to put the nervous visitor at ease, seeming to tell him or her, according to her counselors, "It's ok, don't be afraid.  You'll like it here, It's fun!"
She only goes on Wednesday and Friday, so Michelle always tries to schedule interviews for the smaller dogs for either of those two days.  Lily herself though plays with the big dogs as well and always comes home ready for a nap.
She is just such a continuing joy to us and we are so grateful to have her as part of our family.
Thanks again for all the care you put into your program.   Lily Claire is a wonderful example.  Everyone says so and we are fortunate enough to see it every day.
Fondly,
Stephanie, David, Howard and Lily Claire

  Hi Angie!

I am finally getting to email you a couple of pictures of our little girl.  We wanted to send you some Christmas pictures, but they have yet to be developed on regular film.  But we got a digital camera for Christmas and put it to use right away taking pictures of little Lily.  She is doing great and we love her to death.  She is a smart little thing, but has a mind of her own for sure!  We are teaching her new things every day.  She definitely loves this holiday season because we have been home with her a lot and have taken her on the road several times (even to look at Christmas lights!).  We are so glad that she is part of our family.  We will send you more pictures as they come.  Have a great New Year!!

I felt so comfortable in purchasing a puppy (Oreo) from Over The Rainbeaux Kennels for my daughter, Caitlyn.  From Angie's close relationship with her veterinarian, Dr. Fruge, to her Christian home, and how she loves her animals I knew that I was getting a puppy from someone who really loves the breed and does not have what people refer to as a "puppy factory."  I have now purchased two dogs from Angie and would do so again.

Hey Miss Angie,

It doesn't surprise me one bit that passed the inspection (AKC) with flying colors.  Anyone could see how much love and dedication you put into your kennels.  It shows in every one of those beautiful dogs and pups. Here's an update photo of Baxter for you.

Angie,

You are too sweet!  I'm glad you enjoy the emails (I send sooo many).  Ofcourse you pass the AKC inspection - you're the best!!!  You practice what you preach and it shows.  Give "Sawyer" a kiss for his momma.....tell him I can't wait to bring him home.

Angie/Dean,

After calling 13 states and speaking with several breeders, we struck gold when we reached you. You really confirmed that getting a puppy was the right thing to do for me and my husband. Tonti is medicine to our soul. The abundance of love and warmth you invested in him from the beginning is displayed everyday. He is a jewel. Tonti has brought so many fulfillments to our family. We thank you so much for instilling love in him that will last a lifetime.

You would be happy to know that Tonti has graduated from Obedience School with merits! He received his Competition Certificate, Best Trick Award and Perfect Attendance Award. Our little lovebug (Tonti) is a breath of fresh air! He is adorable, handsome, and walks around like "I'm the Prince."

Guys, you are the best and we highly recommend you. AKC should be proud to have you as part of their family, because you represent them well beyond expectations.

Luv,

Being the animal lover that I am, I have always had two dogs and multiple cats.  I have bought from both pet stores and breeders in the past.  After educating myself, I no longer support pet stores and would recommend others not to do so either!

While breeders are the best way to go, not all breeders are created equal!!!!  Some take a much more personal approach to their animals, as does Angie and Dean.

After my initial conversation with Angie, I could tell she handles each and every puppy as if it were a personal pet!!!  She spent so much time in answering every question and concern I had, many times staying up late into the night to do so!!!  And she never made it seem like a choice but rather a pleasure to do so.  I got the feeling she wanted to check me out as much as I her???  Making sure her puppies go to good homes!!!!

Her husband, Dean, is equally as committed to these puppies!!!!  We actually received our new puppy from Dean in Knoxville, TN, where we drove from Michigan to meet him for the exchange.  When he came from his truck hugging this little tiny puppy, I could see the love and caring in his eyes immediately!!!  He said he hated to give her up!!!

About our little puppy???  She is GORGEOUS!!!!!  And perfect in every way!!!!  She is the best socialized puppy I have ever gotten from any source; pet store or breeder!!!  She is smart and curious and full of love with no signs of shyness to people at all!!!  This is quite special for such a young puppy???  She is healthy and strong and a wonderful addition to our family!!!!  When we took her to our local PetsMart to get her supplies, she was the "talk of the store."  Everyone wanted to know where she came from???  I ended up giving out Angie's website to several people that day.

As I said earlier, I have dealt with many animals throughout my lifetime, enough to know that the start they get definitely helps determine their personality and what type of animal they will become.  I feel Angie and Dean definitely know how to give their animals that right start!!!

I would HIGHLY recommend their puppies to anyone looking for a quality pet to share their lives with!!!!  And when the time comes again, I will look no further because all my future puppies will be from them!!!!

Good Luck, Angie and Dean, in the future, although you won't need it, your puppies speak for themselves!!!!

Until Next Time,

Dear Angie,

I just wanted to say that I am really enjoying having my puppy.  He is so cute and playful.  He loves my other dogs, Sammy and Geo.  They enjoy playing with him too.  He likes to lie down in my lap and go to sleep.  He loves to jump and play around.  He also rides in mommy's and grandma's car.  During the day when I go to my summer job he goes to 'daycare' at my grandma's house.  I enclosed a picture for you to see how well he looks.  Thanks for giving me the puppy of my dreams!!!!

Hi Angie,

I hope that your holiday season is going well.  I was so happy to receive your Christmas card in the mail the other day.  I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed having Lily Mae.  She is such a joy.  I have attached a picture of her at her puppy school graduation a few months ago.  I am writing to wish you a Merry Christmas but also to inquire about another puppy that one of my friends is interested in.  Thank you so much and I hope you have a wonderful Merry Christmas!!

Hi!  Hope this finds you all well & looking forward to Christmas.

Just thought I should let you know that I have sent several folks your way.  I told them how pleased I have been with both of the cockers I got, how easily they adjusted and that I've met you personally, etc.

Savannah is doing wonderful.  She's mellow and laid back.  Still having quite a few potty accidents, but she is still so young that is to be expected.  Everyone her is quite taken with her.  Thanks for letting her join our family.

Bye for now,

Dear Angie,

Hope you had a wonderful holiday season.  As for the puppies, they are doing great.  We named the little red & white one Miss Piggy because she is always looking for munchies.  She is heavier than the black/tan one.  Miss Piggy is our little kisser.  She gives kisses all the time and she tries to chew on our chins.  We named the little black/tan one Miss Daisy because she is very independent like the lady in Driving Miss Daisy...she is also a little stubborn.  She doesn't give a whole lots of kisses but she loves to be held.  Her favorite past time is sitting on our laps.  I have noticed she is giving a lot more kisses than she used to.  My rat terrier, Binky, immediately became mom to them as soon as we got home.  She takes very good care of them, plays with them and tries to keep them out of trouble.  Miss Piggy bites a lot harder and Miss Daisy is our little escape artist.  They don't get to play in the dog pen in the yard with our big dogs because you never know when Miss Daisy will find a way out.  Miss Daisy is potty training a lot easier than Miss Piggy though.  They both found the toy box and the cookie box within two days of being home.  We took them to the vet for their shots and a checkup, the vet said they are great looking pups and he was very impressed with them.  Take care of yourself, your family and all your babies.

Sincerely,

Dear Angie,

Just a quick note to let you know again how very, very much I appreciate your patience and kindness.

I am beside myself about how absolutely "stunning" my new little girl is.  She is actually everything I hoped for-----and more!!!  You should be breeder of the century because not only are your babies fantastically beautiful but mainly because of your honest, sweet, loyal and undying dedication to the cocker spaniel breed!  I am truly proud to know you are and if you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Yours Sincerely,

 Angie,

I want to first say that I never would have thought, for one minute that I could be so in love with a dog.  When I first contacted you it was for a puppy for the twins, but turns out she is mine!!!!  She is part of our family.  By the way Jim loves her almost as much as me.  Chloe already knows to sit when told and working on shake now....smart and not even 4 mos. yet.  Everyone that sees her can't get over how beautiful she is.  Thanks for helping us with getting the perfect pet for our family...I will send more pictures after her next trim...we think she looks more like "Mr. Phys."  Jim calls her "Phys' when they are playing.

Hi, Angie!!

We just wanted to thank you so much for Lexie May and Lucas.  We couldn't have asked for better pups.  They are so lovable, with very different personalities.  Lexie May is a "Miss Priss," walking around with her head high and bouncing with every step.  She cries if she doesn't get her way, and she is always wanting attention.  Lucas is a little more relaxed than Lexie May, but he is very playful, too.  Lucas will let us hold him for quite a while; whereas, Lexie May cries to be let down.  She is always worried she will miss out on something.  They learned where the doggie door was the second day we brought them home.  They know "sit" and "paw."  They know "treat" and "in your house."  And, of course, they know "No!"  We are about 95 percent sure they are 100 percent potty trained!  They learned really fast.

Their favorite toys are "Josh" and "Harry," two squeak toys they drag around everywhere.  And, of course, they love their treats.  They also love to watch TV!!!  It is the most adorable thing to see them watching TV.  I've attached a picture of them watching TV.

Thank you so much for all your care and answers you've given us.  It's nice to be able to call someone when you are a new parent!  You always have the right answers.  We are enjoying Lexie May and Lucas more than we could ever, ever imagine.  They're beautiful.

Angie,

Words cannot express the love I have for this puppy!  He is perfect in every way in my eyes.  He has so many new things, he doesn't know which one to go to first.

I've shown him to all my friends.  Two of them said they were going to look you up online.  Everyone thought he is absolutely gorgeous!!

Right now, he's in his playpen, stretched out looking at me as I write.  What a love he is!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Angie.  I will send you a portrait later.

   Angie:
Just wanted to let you know that Gracie is happy and loved in her new home with us.  Here are a couple of pictures of our spoiled little girl.   If you notice, she has taken to carrying a “woobie” around just like a toddler.

Gracie has stayed quite small, but what she lacks in size she makes up for in energy!  At her last vet visit she weighed just over 11 pounds, but I’ll guess she’s at around 14 pounds now.  Our vet just loves Gracie and says she has very unusual markings.  He also commented on how healthy she was when I took her in for her first set of shots.

I just wanted to let you know that Cole is doing great.  He is absolutely beautiful.  He is only 4 pounds!!!  It's like he's been here forever, he fits in perfectly.  Attached is a picture of him after his bath with his little sweater on, it's one of my favorite pics.

 Ms. Angie,

I thought I'd drop you a line just to tell you how my Chance is doing.  Housetraining has gone great.  He's had very few accidents and he is letting me know when he needs to go outside.  We know our basic commands and we are learning new ones.  He is up to 12 lbs. and is now bigger than my Shih Tzu (although Charlye hasn't realized it yet).  I've included a couple of new pic's of him to show you how gorgeous he is.  The groomers said he hasn't given them any problems, all he wants to do is love and kiss them.

Thanks again for a wonderful member of my family.

Hi Angie,

I thought I would drop you a quick message to let you know that Hershey passed his first well puppy visit with flying colors. The vet was very impressed with the pink sheet we brought in with Hershey. He said he looked great and complimented his overall health. It really reaffirmed our choice to get Hershey and from whom we bought him. We love him so much!   I think he’s on track with the “potty” training.  He’s had a couple of accidents but I think it has to do with us reading his signs.  We’re learning.  Attached is a picture of Hershey and Noah.  We thought you might like to see him.

Thanks again,

This is a 2006 Christmas card from Miss Maria in Monroe, Louisiana.  She purchased Angel (top left) from us.  Angel is the offspring of Miss Starr and Mr. Phys.  Miss Maria is so proud of her babies.  She was referred to us by a fellow breeder (and friend) in Mississippi.

Angie, I was just sending a picture of Margeaux.  She is doing great.  She is beautiful, loving and spoiled.  She weighs 18 pounds and the vet says he doesn't think she'll get much bigger.

Angie, I trust you are doing well.

I just wanted to give you an update on the babies.

Angel is the largest but the biggest wimp.  Baby Doll ( all 4#+) is the alpha dog where is comes to the four of them.  Angel loves to be on my lap, at my feet, following me, etc.  She also loves her "space" from the others.  She loves to chew on my recliner as well.  She has the most adorable Cocker traits.  Everyone loves her looks and disposition.  She has a higher pitched voice than the others.  She is the most alert to anything different or out of the norm.

Sugar is all male.  He likes to think he is in charge but Honey puts him in his place by grabbing his ear and rolling him over.  He likes his "Own" time.  He does not like to be on my lap with anyone else and only if I am sitting in the recliner in the family room.  He likes to guard the back yard against intruders like cats and birds.  He likes to have the pool man come.  He gets treats or special play treatment.  He is the strong silent type.

Honey... well she is my biggest baby.  She comes to check on me to make sure I am at my desk or I am in the kitchen or doing laundry or whatever I was doing last time she checked.   She loves to jump up in my lap and snuggles right up close.  when she is in "her" spot, she lays her head back against my chest and closes her eyes to be petted and loved and spoiled.  She is the smartest, most wanting of attention and affection and she wants to play the most.

They have been a wonderful addition to the household but they have learned some bad habits as well.    They chew on my computer, telephone, etc cords.  Anything that is necessary and expensive.   The love to chew and play tug of war with any piece of clothing or fabric they can topple the laundry to get at.  They particularly love my trouser socks,  Baby Doll's stuffed bedding, and my recliner chairs stuffing and hand lever.......go figure.

I have had many people offer to buy them ( I have been tempted once or twice because of their destruction of some things) but I have turned them all down.  They are part of the family and I love them all dearly.

You breed some  great dogs with good character, personality, conformation, health, and disposition.  You do a very good job.

Thank you,

Angie, my babies are growing like well watered weeds.
Angel, used to be the biggest one,  she is now 14½ pounds and about 13 inches at the top of her shoulders.  Sugar, the male is a big  16+ pounds and 15 inches at the top of his shoulders.   Honey the smallest is almost  12 pounds  and 11.5 inches at the top of her shoulders.

The vet is so pleased.  They are healthy, have had their shots.  They love a bath, they love to be played with and play well together.   You raise great dogs and I really do appreciate you  and the care and training you gave them before they becama part of  my family.

Angie,
Hey there! With your advice, Stella has done sooooo much better. I have already seen a change in her behavior. Its neat to see them learn things. She truly is getting more comfortable with us and our home. She hasn't howled like a crazy dog today, yea!!!!!!!!  I'm so proud of her. Oh and she made it all the way up the stairs by herself.  She is momma's girl.  One more question to add to the below, should we start with sit, stay and come now or is it too much this first week?  I started with sit.  So we will see!!!  She is such a cutie and a love bug.  I'm sure I will have more questions for you soon!

Hi Angie,
Thanks for all the info!  Stella is learning so fast and she is exploring her new home... we are so excited to have her as part of the family.  I am fortunate enough to only work 2 miles from our home, so I get to go home at lunch everyday and take her out...its my favorite part of the day.  Stella has definitley started chewing and biting on everything.  I know thats what puppys do...how do you handle this w/ your dogs?

Hi Angie!

As you can see above, my baby's name is Mocha!  Actually the official name on the papers would be:
                                                                            "Alicia's Mocha Latte"

She is doing absolutely great!  She has explored her great big new yard.  We have made several trips to the pond, she walks/runs over there mind you and as you can imagine she is slap wore out after all that exercise!  I have to watch her pretty close by the pond as she seems to have no fear and would plow right in!  Mark and I do alot of watering plants and so she has walked with us when we do that as well.  The only problem being is we have to watch our step...she is right under our feet!!!!!

We haven't had a bit of problem with her sleeping @ night in her new home; Mark already has her going to her kennel in our computer room to drink her water and then she comes back to the living room where the humans are!

Every a.m. when I get her out of her kennel to bring her outside to potty she puts her little paws on my face & gives me 'kisses'; they do tug @ your heartstrings!

Mocha is going to see the vet this afternoon; I'm sure everybody @ the vet's office will fall in love with her as we have.

Mark is the worst of all; I played tennis last night so he was official babysitter...this a.m. he told me all about their evening last nite....she played outside for 2 hrs with Sandy, the stray I was telling you about (they actually play very well together), she fell asleep on his TV tray by his recliner, she barked & growled @ him (I guess he looked threatening!), she jumped off his recliner on to floor and she played with and shook all the puppy toys in the living room.  She was a busy little girl yesterday evening!  Actually this is good for Mark...he doesn't like being alone very much and I love to play tennis so now he'll have company on those evenings I want to stay in town to play tennis with my girlfriends!

She played great with my grandson too...he crawled on all fours in the living over the weekend and she chased him all around.

More later!

She slept ALL the way home; NEVER heard her. She has pretty much stuck to her kennel. She drank a little but wasn't interested in eating just yet. She hasn't pottied yet. She seems to love rolling in the grass and playing with the leaves!  It is too adorable!  Anyway here are some pics of her from today.  Once she is a little more comfy here, I will send some with her new family!

Thanks for allowing us to become her new family!

Dear Angie and family,
We would like to thank you again for doing such a wonderful job with your puppies. I can never tell you enough how much we love our Gracie, whose formal name will now be- Princess Gracie's Chocolate Kisses.  She has adapted so well to our family and our different personalities.  Her potty training is going well and has only had a few accidents.  Her vet is very impressed not only with her beauty but her mellow personality. When he gave her the 16 week shots, she didn't even blink an eye! She weighed in at 8 pounds 1 ounce.  The vet says she will not get too big; maybe 12 pounds!  She loves to chase her ball and occasionally yipes at it as though it will answer her back.  And she has now discovered that our cats, who reside on our front porch like to lay at the front door, and has taken to scratching at the glass storm door as though she could get to them!  All your tips have worked really well and she is the best snuggler!  And she loves to sit on my lap as I work on my computer; and usually falls asleep! You described her perfectily, and she is everything you described to me and more!  I look forward to sending you more pictures as she grows up, but in the meantime here are a few...   She and Jonas love to exchange kisses!!!!  They are best friends!

Thanks once again
