There's no place like Over The Rainbeaux Kennels!!!! We invite you to come and visit us either via this website or in person. We are a small hobby kennel located in Longville, Louisiana.....God's country! That's about one hour north of Lake Charles and just due south of DeRidder, Louisiana. We are about an hour east of the Louisiana/Texas stateline. Our rich Louisiana heritage gives us the opportunity to provide the finest of southern hospitality. We have bred and raised American Cocker Spaniels for about 18 years producing many different colors including chocolates, buffs, silver buffs, blacks, sables, partis and tris. We base our breeding on good health, outstanding temperaments and soundness of the breed.
Over The Rainbeaux Kennels is a joint venture in which our family members are involved in kennel building and maintenance, birthing, grooming, socializing, training, photography, etc. Our adult cockers have met and exceed specific requirements in order to be candidates of our breeding program. Our rigorous breeding program is designed to forbid our cockers from ever being placed in a "puppy mill" situation. We consider them part of our family and we treat them with the same respect and love they return to us "10 fold." Our Christian atmosphere gives us a special gentle touch that makes socialization a breeze....and a blessing! We strive to provide the healthiest puppies possible through continued veterinary study. We also take pride in our abilities to meet the breed standards of the American Cocker Spaniel. Each puppy is thoroughly examined by our licensed vet to ensure it's guaranteed good health. Regardless of the cocker's age, every puppy or adult (available periodically) adopted will not leave our kennels unless it is totally up to date on deworming and vaccinations. We do, however, reserve the right to screen all adoptees. Our puppies are very special; lots of time and money goes into their first days on earth and we desire to place them in only the very best of homes.
